It’s been a perfect day.” One of the players’ favorite annual training camp events is less than 24 hours away as FanFest is set to take place Saturday at Qualcomm Stadium. Presented by Bud Light, FanFest allows fans to watch new Head Coach Mike McCoy and numerous Chargers including , , and Manti Te’o take the field at their home stadium for the very first time. “It’s always good to come into the stadium and do some work, but what’s even better is getting to see the support of the fans and seeing that they are as excited for the start of the season as we are.” One of the most popular players on Saturday was Te’o, who drew large groups of fans as he made his way down the sideline signing autographs. Even for fans who have attended camp practices at Rams Park, it’s a first chance to see tight end Jared Cook, rookie wide receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey, and the rest of the Rams’ skill-position players on the fast track of an artificial surface.
