    Sheets spent the past two seasons with Saskatchewan in the CFL. If things do break that way, there will be an opening for a complementary back and Sheets should be in the mix for that role. The Raiders signed running back Kory Sheets from the Canadian Football League, a player that could be a big part of the teams running game in 2014. Sheets ran for 1,598 yards and 12 touchdowns during the 2013 season and added 37 catches for 264 yards. Sheets played four years at Purdue , finishing his collegiate career ranked second in school history with 3,341 rushing yards on 664 carries, and holding the school record with 48 rushing touchdowns. His exploits in Canada got him tryouts with both the Colts and Raiders before he signed a deal with Oakland. Two of Oakland's running backs will be unrestricted free agents, though general manager Reggie McKenzie said he wanted to retain Rashad Jennings and expected Darren McFadden to test the market.
