    The Raiders announced on Friday they have named former NFL defensive coordinator Bob Sanders linebackers coach. They’ve now filled all of those spots with the announcement that Bob Sanders will coach the linebackers this season. Overall, Sanders has 33 years’ coaching experience in college and the NFL. Sanders’ defense finished sixth in the NFL in points allowed in 2007, helping them to a 13-3 record and a berth in the NFC Championship Game. The Raiders fired several members of coach Dennis Allen’s staff after the end of the regular season, including linebackers coach Johnny Holland. He spent the last four seasons with Buffalo, having joined the Bills as defensive line coach , then spent the next two seasons as outside linebackers coach, before taking over the entire linebacking unit in 2012.
