I really like the Rams' signing of Shaun Hill as their veteran backup quarterback for 2014. After four seasons in Detroit, backup quarterback Shaun Hill is leaving the Lions. Rams coach Jeff Fisher admitted they were interested in Sanchez, but moving on with Hill makes it seem he’s destined elsewhere. Although the team is still expected to select a quarterback somewhere in the upcoming draft, Hill gives the Rams a veteran backup behind starter Sam Bradford. The 34-year old Hill originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with Minnesota in 2002 but didn't get the chance to throw a pass in a regular season game until 2007 with the 49ers. The Lions have shown that they’re not confident right now in handing over the backup duties to third stringer Kellen Moore, who has been on the roster since being signed as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
