Nets coach Jason Kidd was stuck without any timeouts on the game’s closing play and, after some initial confusion, Paul Pierce threw up a desperation heave at the buzzer that was no good. Toronto made up a three-point deficit in the game’s final 17 seconds to steal a one-point victory.
