ESPN reported over the weekend that the team will try to recoup some of the All-Pro's signing bonus in light of his six-game suspension for violating the league's drug-abuse policy. Miller had 30 sacks in his first two NFL seasons, including a franchise record 18 1/2 last season. The Broncos would do that by withholding money from his paychecks once he's reinstated in mid-October. The team will attempt to reclaim $1.25 million of the $13.77 million signing bonus he got when he signed his four-year, $21 million rookie contract in 2011, ESPN said, citing people in the NFL it didn't name.
