The Los Angeles Dodgers are chasing free agent right fielder Torii Hunter, USA Today Sports has reported, citing a high-ranking Dodgers official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of continuing negotiations. The Dodgers have approached free agent outfielder Torii Hunter about a two-year contract, according to a major league source. Hunter, who's spent the last five seasons with the Angels, is close friends with Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp and owns a home in Newport Coast, Calif. The Dodgers already have right fielders Andre Ethier and Scott Van Slyke on the roster. Colletti said he did not have any trade discussions this week at the GMs meetings in Indian Wells, Calif., the newspaper reported.
