• Report: Dolphins to Play Raiders in London in 2014

    The league announced Thursday morning that the Raiders will host the Miami Dolphins in one of three games played in London in 2014. The Dolphins also played in London in 2007. Many fans aren’t in favor of these international games, but playing in London will be a favorable situation for the Dolphins in 2014. Detroit is headed to London and really, this always seemed like it would make sense. The league already had announced that the Jaguars, Falcons, and Raiders will host games in London. In addition to the Lions-Falcons game in London next year, the Jaguars will play the Cowboys and the Raiders will play the Dolphins, the NFL announced Thursday morning. The uniqueness of the Raiders opponent is that the Dolphins come from within the AFC. Columnist Gene Frenette found a few fans near Buckingham Palace and reporter Hays Carlyon discussed the media coverage, or lack of it, in the London papers today.
