    The Black Mamba is slowly working himself into shape, and this past weekend’s trip to the Lakers’ practice facility in El Segundo, CA is the clearest sign yet that Kobe Bryant could be back on the court sooner, rather than later. Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni was a little more tepid about Mamba’s full-time return, telling the Los Angeles Daily News‘ Mark Medina yesterday, “You’re dealing with if he’s sore today or if there’s a setback tomorrow. We need to be cautious. In the past few days, we finally received some tangible positive news about Kobe's recovery. How many games constitutes "a bunch" is anybody's guess. Just because Kobe Bryant is back on the practice court doesn't mean that the Los Angeles Lakers are any closer to knowing when they will have the superstar guard back for an actual game, coach Mike D'Antoni cautioned Sunday. While both Bryant and Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni stressed that he's not back to 100 percent and there are "areas where it still needs to get stronger," both noted they've been "pleasantly surprised" by how well he seems to have responded to the escalation in activity since he was fully cleared to resume all basketball activities on Saturday.
