Alex Rios became the seventh Rangers player to hit for the cycle on Monday night, and he needed just four at-bats to accomplish the feat against the Astros. Rios hit a two-run double in the first inning, an infield single in the third, a solo home run in the fourth and an RBI triple to center in the sixth to complete his cycle over his first four at-bats before a crowd of 33,743. Rios hit for the cycle and lefthander Derek Holland threw a shutout while leading the Rangers to 12-0 rout, extending the Astros’ season-high losing streak to 10 games.
