Redskins outside linebacker Rob Jackson has drawn a four-game suspension to begin the 2013 regular season, Howard Balzer of the Sports Xchange reported Wednesday. and Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Jackson is appealing the suspension. The league said Wednesday night that Jackson will miss the first four games of the regular season. Balzer, however, has indicated that teams have been told of Jackson’s suspension, which infers that the appeals process is over, according to Balzer. He started 14 games last year and had 4½ sacks filling in for injured outside linebacker Brian Orakpo.
