A CT scan has revealed that Rockets forward Carlos Delfino fractured his right foot midway through Game 5 against the Thunder, and will need surgery in the offseason. A CT scan performed Thursday revealed the fracture, and Delfino will have surgery in the offseason. Delfino was one of the defenders being used against Kevin Durant; now, Francisco Garcia and Chandler Parsons will have to avoid foul trouble while guarding Durant. “Carlos has played a large role in our success so far this season and we are disappointed for him that he will not be able to finish out this playoff run,” said Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey. “Carlos would love nothing more than to be out there with his teammates as they prepare for tonight’s Game 6, but this is the type of injury that requires a surgical repair.
