    Pittsburgh safety Ryan Mundy was fined $21,000 for a brutal hit on Oakland receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Steelers safety Ryan Mundy is paying for the vicious hit he laid on Raiders receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey on Sunday. Mundy said after the game that he didn't intentionally try to injure Heyward-Bey. Mundy hurled his body and lowered his helmet into Heyward-Bey's facemask. Mundy somehow didn't get a penalty from the replacement officials for that frightening blow. The fourth-quarter, helmet-to-helmet collision left Heyward-Bey unconscious, until he was lifted onto a stretcher and taken to a local hospital. A helmet-to-helmet hit draws the automatic $21,000 fine.
