The New Orleans Saints announced Monday that they have signed former Cleveland Browns tight end Ben Watson to a three-year contract. The 2013 season will be Watson’s 10th in the NFL. Watson had 37 catches in his worst season for the Browns. During his first six seasons in the NFL, Benjamin Watson was a regular in the post-season while playing for the New England Patriots. Watson joins Graham and young tight end Michael Higgins, who spent most of last season on the practice squad, to help strengthen a position that had little depth behind Graham.
