Chris Sale could be forgiven if he stepped to the mound in the top of the sixth inning during Monday night's 6-2 White Sox victory over the Tigers at U.S. So, when Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder reached on singles to open the frame, it looked as if this rare offensive outburst behind Sale might be wasted. The White Sox had just scored three runs off of Doug Fister in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead, with those three runs in one inning surpassing the total game support given to the All-Star in 12 of his previous starts.
