"This is my team," Seinfeld said. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Keith Hernandez are getting back together. Seinfeld a longtime Mets fan and the creator of "Seinfeld," which Hernandez guest-starred on in 1992 will join Ron Darling, Gary Cohen and Hernandez in the SNY announcers' booth during New York's game against the Giants on Tuesday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Hernandez and Seinfeld worked on Seinfeld in 1992, when the former Mets first baseman appeared as himself in a two-part episode called "The Boyfriend," in which he is accused of spitting on Newman and Kramer following a Mets game. Returning to the booth for the first time in three years, comedian Jerry Seinfeld added his particular brand of observational humor to the New York Mets-San Francisco Giants tilt Tuesday night on the SNY broadcast. Perhaps cognizant of the recent uptick in concussion awareness, Seinfeld also lobbied for more padding on outfield walls. Let's talk pennant-race baseball!
