Inclement weather at Target Field caused a postponement of Wednesday's series finale between the Angels and Twins. The Angels only make one trip to Minnesota this season, but the two teams also share an off-day on Sept. 9. The Angels planned to have scheduled starter Tommy Hanson facing the Twins' Vance Worley go through his normal pregame workouts. Weather reports previously indicated a 100-percent chance of precipitation under the frigid temperatures. But the weather held up throughout the day and both teams showed up to the field.
