    Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden says the player he really is and the player we all saw on the field during his rookie year are not exactly the same player. NFL Network's Steve Wyche said Tuesday that Trent Richardson really likes quarterback Brandon Weeden but feels that Weeden struggled to read defenses at times last season and the Browns had to dial down their offense because of it. Anyone who watched Brandon Weeden closely last season should not be surprised that a teammate would claim he struggled to read defenses. NFL Network's Steve Wyche as detailed by Mary Kay Cabot today has reported that Browns running back Trent Richardson told him Weeden "really had trouble reading defenses from time to time and they had to skew their offense a little bit, sometimes somewhat predictable." New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam III made it clear in the week before the Super Bowl that the Browns will hold a competition to determine the team's starter now that new coach Rob Chudzinski and offensive coordinator Norv Turner have replaced the previous regime. Wyche said Richardson first told him how excited he is to work with new offensive coordinator Norv Turner since Turner likes to feature his backs, such as former San Diego Charger LaDainian Tomlinson.
