    The terms of Roach's contract with the Raiders were not disclosed, but a league source said the Raiders offered $3 million to $4 million a year for three or four seasons. Linebacker Nick Roach, who has started 29 games in the last two seasons for the Chicago Bears over the past two seasons, has signed with the Raiders, the club announced Friday. ESPN-Chicago reported that Bears’ general manager Phil Emery said his team attempted to sign Roach, but was up against the salary cap and Roach “wouldn’t make the necessary adjustments,’’ instead accepting the Raiders’ offer. “Once I came out to visit, I knew it was going to be a fast process,’’ Roach told ESPN-Chicago. “It was a great visit.’’ “I can’t wait to get with Raiders coaches and learn the scheme. That means the Bears will have at least one significant change among their starting linebackers in 2013, and it could be two if veteran Brian Urlacher does not return.
