Fisher, the Rams’ head coach, was the head coach of the Titans when they selected Britt in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft, and coached Britt for two years. In agreeing to terms with wide receiver Kenny Britt, the Rams are hoping Britt can return to the form he showed in his two seasons with Jeff Fisher in Tennessee. McNulty coached Britt at Rutgers, but even with a likely ally on the Titans staff, Tennessee showed zero interesting in bringing Britt back. Even though he has a scandal-filled past and has been on a steep downward trajectory in production, I'm OK with the Rams' signing wide receiver Kenny Britt to a one-year contract. The Rams could use a dangerous outside receiver to go with Tavon Austin inside. He looked primed for a big contract year with a solid training camp in 2013, but with early drops and penalty issues he became a non-factor, playing little once he lost his confidence and not dressing for three of the final four games.
