A person familiar with the negotiations says veteran free agent forward Shawn Marion has agreed to a contract with the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers have widely been considered to be the front-runners to sign Marion since it emerged that they're poised to complete a trade for Minnesota's Kevin Love later this month. Marion will join what could turn out to be a star-studded front court, should the expected trade for Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love go down as expected.
