    Astros prospect George Springer homered twice and drove in three runs in the Texas League All-Star Game on Tuesday night, taking home MVP honors as he makes his way to Triple-A. Springer, the Astros' No. 3 prospect, hit a solo shot with one out in the sixth, then tacked on two more runs with another blast in the eighth inning, leading the South All-Stars to a 6-0 win. He was the Texas League's leading run producer over the season's first half, ranking among the league leaders in batting average , homers , RBIs , stolen bases , hits , doubles and runs scored at the time of his promotion. Because the Astros were scheduled to be off Monday and Thursday this week, lefthander Dallas Keuchel was skipped a turn in the rotation to keep Lucas Harrell on normal rest between starts.
