• Taking stock of the Jaguars through one quarter of the season

    This season, I wanted to try taking watch of our stock once every four games or so. Some of you have noticed the absence of a weekly Stock Watch report. Houston has run away with the AFC South, well ahead of Indianapolis and the Jaguars and Titans . The Jaguars are 51/2-point underdogs Sunday against Chicago and then have the bye week to, as Mularkey said, “regroup a little bit, get some guys healthier and see where we go after that.” Should the Lions have been more aggressive in adding to their roster for the short term as well? Their biggest omission might have been standing pat at running back amid uncertainty about Jahvid Best and Mikel Leshoure .
