After a season that started with two wins and ended with 14 straight losses, the Houston Texans have opted not to increase their ticket prices for the 2014 season. After finishing with an NFL-worst 2-14 record, the Texans are not raising ticket prices. As it stands, the Texans average general ticket price will be $86.39 per ticket. In addition, single-game prices will be the same as in 2013, a club spokesman tells me. The Texans, who have sold out every game at Reliant Stadium since their inception in 2002, will have an average ticket price of $86.39 for the second consecutive season. As someone who thinks the Chargers may have overpriced their stadium experience, I consider the price freeze a good idea that seems like a no-brainer.
