Texans rookie offensive tackle David Quessenberry suffered a broken foot in practice this week and is out for the season. The Texans loved what they saw of rookie offensive lineman David Quessenberry in training camp and the preseason. Quessenberry, who also can play tackle, was an impressive sixth-round pick. A sixth-round draft pick out of San Jose State, Quessenberry showed impressive versatility, and the team thought he could have contributed at either guard or tackle as a rookie. The Texans kept an extra offensive lineman, including Cody White, who can play guard and center. His roster spot may be taken by Antonio Smith, who is suspended for Week One but will come off the reserve/suspended list in Week Two.
