The Houston Texans have signed free agent safety Kendrick Lewis. The club has signed free safety Kendrick Lewis to a one-year contract, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported on Friday. New Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel was Lewis’ head coach with the Chiefs. Lewis played in every game last season for the Kansas City Chiefs with 15 starts. Swearinger, Shiloh Keo and Danieal Manning on the Texans’ depth chart at safety. He had 56 tackles, including three for losses, and an interception.
