    Gruden, younger brother of former Oakland and Tampa Bay coach Jon Gruden, says his interview Thursday at Cardinals headquarters was his first for a head coaching job with any NFL team. The Bengals reached the playoffs each of the last two years with Gruden and quarterback Andy Dalton, a second-round pick in 2011. The 45-year-old Gruden served two stints as head coach of the Orlando Predators from 1998-2001 and from 2004-08. His brother, Jay, was a career Arena League coach who spent some time with Jon’s Buccaneers thanks to a football tradition that dates back even farther than playing on Thanksgiving:  nepotism. Now, Jay has become a star.  And Jon can’t get a sniff.
