Coach Marc Trestman isn’t prone to overstatement, so his praise of the Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger as a ‘‘Hall of Fame quarterback’’ can’t easily be dismissed as hyperbolic coach-speak. We’ve got to do a better job of containing it, and we certainly have to do it with Ben because he’s really the best at it. If there is anything he is considering, outside of things that will help the Bears win Sunday, it is the chance to take his team into a storied NFL town. More important, obviously, is the chance to go 3-0 and being prepared for a winless Pittsburgh Steelers team, whose defense still gets respect around the NFL despite its struggles.
