After pounding Dallas Keuchel early, the Angels pulled off the 7-6 victory when Mike Trout hit a walk-off home run to left-center field in the ninth inning off lefthander Tony Sipp. They had been undefeated in the previous nine games they accomplished that feat. Mike Trout homered leading off the ninth inning after the Los Angeles Angels twice rallied to tie the game, giving them a 7-6 victory over the Houston Astros on Friday night. Teammate Erick Aybar doused Trout with a blue sports drink, staining his white uniform, and fans chanted "MVP! MVP!" Keuchel didn’t fare in the decision in his first start since he was scratched from his previously scheduled start because of inflammation in his left wrist, but he was a major reason the Astros couldn’t pull away easily in the second game of a four-game series.
