• Uribe expects hamstring to land him on DL

    Summary of 2 articles · Updated Aug 16, 2014
Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe said he expects to go on the disabled list after injuring his right hamstring Friday night. Uribe said the injury had not improved by the time he arrived at Dodger Stadium on Saturday. Justin Turner, who picked up the bulk of third-base starts when Uribe was out earlier, was in the lineup at third base Saturday night against the Brewers. It is the same hamstring that forced him to miss more than a month earlier this year. His place in the lineup will be taken by utility infielder Justin Turner, whose seasonlong reliability along with Miguel Rojas, the regular fill-in at shortstop for the frequently injured Hanley Ramirez was praised by Mattingly before the game.
