Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton will make his first appearance against his former team, the Texas Rangers, at 1:05 p.m. CT on Friday, April 5, in Texas' home opener for 2013.

New Rangers designated hitter Lance Berkman is a former teammate of both free-agent outfielder Michael Bourn and pitcher Kyle Lohse. Apparently those two names came up when Berkman had lunch with Rangers officials on Monday.
